I have been so eager to publish this post all day! Music has always been therapeutic for me and this morning was no exception. It’s no surprise that what my family and I are going through I cling to my faith, and Christian music is a big part of that walk [for me]. When I’m in the car (another therapeutic source!) I always have The Message (Sirius Radio) on and as I was driving back North from the Seatac airport I was blessed with one favorite song after the other. My eyes instantly welled up with tears, overwhelmed by the words, meaning, and joy in singing His praises all the way home.
For me, singing songs of praise is like praying and there is nothing like a powerful song that sling shots me to my knees. Vanessa, author of Her Heart Proclaims recently prompted her readers to share his or her favorite worship songs and ultimately inspired this Speechless Sunday post. 🙂 Yes, the day is nearly over — but I’m willing to bet these songs will make an impression on you that could last all week, if not longer.
