Have you noticed in life yet that it is the small things that really make a difference? Whether it be a whispered “I love you,” a thoughtful note, or a surprise in the mail, I have come to learn in life it truly is the little things that put a smile on my face.
Enter Kili Noe Designs:
I want to take a moment to spotlight my friend — more like my sister — Misty, the owner and creative jewelry designer behind Kili Noe Designs. Misty’s name, Kili Noe [pronounced: key-lee noy] translates as: Fine, misty rain.. Which is so appropriate because Misty has always been a breath of fresh air to be around — much like the misty rain I’d wake up to each morning back home, breathe in the fresh tropical air and marvel at vibrant rainbows as the sun would rise up from behind the West Maui Mountains…
Misty is the big sister I never had and I am so thankful to have her in my life. We have known each other for as long as I can remember, and she will always be part of my ‘Ohana no matter how many miles separate us! 🙂
Life isn’t easy for anyone, as we are all going through something, and it seems Misty and I have more things in common as of late than ever before. We’re both in industries with heavy competition and struggle with family medical crises. Maybe you’re in a similar situation as well? With heavy hearts we surrender it all to the Lord and know He has reason and purpose for everything.
With out even knowing how particularly tough of a month I have been having, Misty completely surprised me out of the blue — in addition to literally spoiling me rotten she reminded me that God never gives us opportunities we can’t handle when we have Him on our side. Isn’t that the truth?! [Philippians 4:13 NIV “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.”]
All of Misty’s Island and ocean inspired jewelry is one of a kind and handcrafted on the beautiful Hawaiian Island of Maui. Lots of pieces include shells, glass, pearl, and other unique beads to accentuate the Island inspired look.
When I received Misty’s box filled with Aloha I immediately put on a pair and felt so proud to be rocking my girl’s creations here on the mainland. Because of Mis, I can have a little piece of home where ever I may be. 🙂
I encourage you all to check out Misty’s Facebook page (“Like” it and let her know I sent you!) and of course investigate her Etsy page to see and purchase all of her gorgeous jewelry pieces directly. Maybe you’ll want to rock a little piece of Maui where ever you are as well! 🙂
Misty thank you again so much for your generosity, your kindness absolutely blew me away and I cannot find the words to even express how thankful I am and how blessed I am to have you in my life. I can’t wait to spoil you now — because you deserve it! Love you girl! 🙂
