Speechless Sunday #8

Inspirations for cold(er) weather…

Quick Tangent:

How genius is this Roxy jacket?! I really think I’m going to have to invest in this jacket.. it’s lightweight, stretchy, full-zip front, and can easily fit under any shell, sweater, parka, or jacket. It’s 100% waterproof and is designed with FAR infra-red technology offering both high and low settings with rechargeable batteries providing warmth for hours — yes please! Sounds perfect for this cold weather weeny!

~*~*~*~
Only the Lord knows the future, and with that I know I shouldn’t worry or feel insecure. As I grow in my walk with the Lord, I’m learning to surrender it all to Him on a daily basis. My family and I are still praying without ceasing with faith and hope for His will. With that being said, it looks as if He is taking us to the Emerald City (no, not Oz).

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
2 Corinthians 12:9

The secret of contentment is leaning on God’s grace…

“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of gods. His faithful love endures forever. Give thanks to the Lord of lords. His faithful love endures forever.”
Psalm 136, verses 1-3
“We can make our own plans, but the LORD gives the right answer. People may be pure in their own eyes, but the LORD examines their motives. Commit your actions to the LORD, and your plans will succeed.”
Proverbs 16, verses 1-3

I hope you have a fabulous Sunday!

  1. now i want to go shopping! this stuff makes me think it might be fun to run outside in the winter (i've been sticking to the good old 'mill). to go along with the grace verse, i love that Steven Curtis Chapman song out right now that says 'tell the story of grace with every little move you make'. Love it.

  2. Silly girl.. I agree with all prior comments about WHY would you need any of this here?? LOL

I shouldn't talk… I was pretty excited to throw on a longsleeve this morning for work. AND closed toe shoes. OH YEAH, bring on the winter! LOL
