Love Me Now | Hate Me Later

Happy Labor Day!!

I hope you all are enjoying this fabulous holiday weekend, and more importantly that you are honoring LABOR by taking the day OFF!

So far it has been an EPIC weekend for us, surprises of the sorts, College Football, inebriation, lake house adventures, and some amazing tasting cake.

I’ve been with out internet but will hopefully catch you all up soon! Until then, keep up with me on Twitter for those far and few in between tweets =)

On another note; I absolutely LOVE getting blog awards! My first Blog Award was from Jen @ Oddly Enough for being a Stylish Blogger and my second, latest and greatest Blog Award is from Katy @ Fit In Heels for being… a Social Butterfly? Uh no– For the coolest blog she ever know, yo!

That’s definitely not grammatically correct!
And, I’m pretty sure this is a screen shot!

Katy is beyond awesome–her personality shines through her writing. I absolutely love following her blog and I know you would too, check her out and read her post here to learn more about her:)

Now prepare yourself to learn some random fun facts about me — and potentially hate me when you see that you’ve been tagged!

Name Your Favorite Color:

Committing to a favorite anything is extremely difficult for me. I’m the person who buys multiples of things when I can’t decide on color.. So before I start rattling off the color wheel, I’ll conclude that purple has and will always be my favorite color. Duo’s include Black & Yellow and of course Orange & Blue;)

Name Your Favorite Song:

Again, I simply cannot commit to ONE favorite song.. there are just too many in the vault to decipher–in fact, I love variety. Did you happen to catch my Musical Reverie post the other day? Short and sweet, but all of those songs are faves right now, including this one I’m borderline obsessed with…

Name Your Favorite Dessert:

Like Katy, it is impossible to pick ONE favorite dessert… hello, who does that?!

I’d like to introduce you all to my little friends…

Hula Pie

Roy’s Chocolate Souffle Ala Mode
Nutella makes ANYTHING better!
Amen to cake!

What Wizzes You Off:

Um. Could you repeat the question please? LOL! I would NOT have known what this was referring to if it wasn’t for Katy… thank you for that! I also have road rage, but that sounds like we have the problem–the reality is I can’t stand stupid people:

Hallelujah!!

In all aspects of life.

When You’re Upset You:

This is exactly what I do when I’m upset …I also might go for a long run, kick the crap out of the heavy bag, or spend a ridiculous amount of money in a record amount of time!! Great answer girl!

Your Favorite Pet:

Does a Bamboo Plant count as a pet? I move around too much to have an actual pet. My brother got a precious Jack Russell Terrier his Sophomore year at college, and she (Zoe) is now the baby in the family…

Enjoying a cold Hinano on a HOT Summer day in La Quinta, CA

She is so flippin’ cute — her little personality melts my heart!

Black or White:

Ohhh nooo, please don’t make me choose! There are times when I love black more, then there are times when I love white more, but there is never a time I don’t love them!

Biggest Fear:

My absolute biggest fear in life is losing the ones I love… I realize tomorrow isn’t promised and today is a gift, and I always want those close to me to know how special they are and how much I love them. For the happy, bubbly, always smiling person I am, I can have a pretty morbid train of thought! I am very blessed to have a tight family of four who are a healthy, lively bunch:)

Best Feature:

I used to LOVE my shoulders (are shoulders a “feature”?!), but I was in a car accident and suffered a broomstick break on my right humerus and now my rotator cuff looks FUNKY. It’s not really something you can tell unless a) you know what to look at or b) I show you and move my shoulder around for you to really see. Perhaps that’s wishful thinking.

Surfing was not legit physical therapy!

Everyday Attitude:

I’m always smiling, laughing, and happy — When I’m not sporting a smile or you haven’t heard my laughter, something’s up.

What is Perfection:

LOVE Christina & Katy’s answers! Without trying to sound too prophetic, perfection [to me] is the ability to change what you can, accept what you can’t, and embrace what you have. Living the life you want and being the person you want to be. Are you who you want to be?

Guilty Pleasures:

Manicures, Pedicures, Food!, Retail therapy (Did someone say Louis??), Blogging & Reading — I literally make time for it:)

  1. Haha I love your answers! I tried a Hula pie when I was in Hawaii and loved it. Seriously, I don't know how I didn't come home 300 pounds from that vacation. Macadamia nuts and acai bowls every single day. The chocolate toffee macadamia nuts were m favourite. I ate an enormous bag on the plane ride home. I don't know why I'm telling you this…just that every time I read yours and Angie's blog I get really jealous and want to come and move in with you.

  2. Hey Girl! Just popping in to say hi – thanks for the shout out…I am working on my answers – trying to make myself sound remotely interesting so as not to bore my audience! I love reading random facts about people…you can learn a lot about someone by their answers alone.

Ha! Jacked up shoulders? You and me both. I've had shoulder surgery and I'm convinced you can “see” the effects. Hmm. Paranoid, much? 😉

So how long will you be without internet? How do you do it? 😀
